Kristina Birke Daniels has been Director of the Nordic Office of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) in Stockholm since 2022. She has extensive experience in the theory and practice of international relations. She has previously worked for the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) as a director in Colombia, Morocco and India. She holds a Master of Science in Economics with a specialisation in International Relations Theory from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. She is an editor and writer, producing analyses and articles on various aspects of international relations and social policy.

Josefin Fürst is Policy Advisor at the Nordic Office of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) in Stockholm, covering issues related to welfare and democracy. She is a political scientist specialising in welfare and democracy. Her current work focuses on strategies against the far right and projects on challenges to the welfare state and strategies for dealing with them and current affairs in Sweden and Finland. She has previously worked in cultural exchange and as a policy advisor. Josefin studied law, German and political science in Stockholm, Wismar and Konstanz and has an M.A. in political science from Södertörn University.

Meike Büscher is Policy Advisor at the Nordic Office of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) in Stockholm. She covers issues related to economy and labor policy in the Nordic region. Her current projects focus on gender equality in the labor market, algorithmic management and the future of work, as well as just transition and climate policies. She studied sociology, communications, and economics at the University of Hamburg and the University of Lund, holding a diploma degree (which corresponds to a Master Degree) in Sociology.

Jakob Schwörer is Policy Advisor at the Nordic Office of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) in Stockholm and covers the topics Foreign Policy, Peace and Security. iHe is a political scientist who earned his PhD from Leuphana University, Lüneburg. He has authored books, chapters, and articles in academic journals on populism and mainstream party behaviour. Currently, he focuses on politics in Denmark and the Arctic region, as well as security policy in a changing world.

Sara Charlotte Wahlström is Press & Events Officer at the Nordic Office of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) in Stockholm. She oversees the communication efforts at the Nordic Office and also coordinates events, panels, and travel plans in collaboration with the office and partner organisations. Among other qualifications, she holds a master's degree in Journalism from JMK, Stockholm University, and a bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology, Development, and International Relations.
